1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms govern your use of Honeylingo and form an agreement with Soonho Kim, the legal seller identified for Honeylingo in the applicable app marketplace and purchase screen. You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live requires a higher age to consent, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use.
2. Acceptance and changes
The app asks you to accept these Terms, acknowledge the Privacy Policy and confirm that you meet the minimum age. Honeylingo records the accepted document versions and time. A material change may be presented for renewed acceptance before continued use.
3. Service and AI content
Honeylingo provides AI-generated language lessons, vocabulary and word-sentence quizzes, speech playback and recognition, learning records and a Reading feed. Reading items are generated automatically by Honeylingo's AI bot and managed by Honeylingo; users cannot publish posts or comments in the current app. AI output may be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on it alone for medical, legal, financial, emergency or other consequential decisions.
4. Accounts and shared learning content
You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and for activity under your account. Honeylingo may create an anonymous account automatically so core features can work before registration. You can delete an anonymous or registered account as described in the Privacy Policy and account-deletion resource.
Generated Today lesson and Words quiz JSON may be retained as reusable shared learning content after the originating account is deleted. Honeylingo first removes the account link and applies the de-identification described in the Privacy Policy. The retained content is not presented as authored by the deleted user. Do not submit personal, confidential, sensitive or infringing information in a custom request.
5. Premium subscriptions
- Honeylingo Premium may be offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- A free account may unlock up to 10 new learning-day sets per calendar month, with no separate daily limit. Honeylingo Premium may unlock up to 5 new learning-day sets per day and 100 per subscription month. Each set includes Lesson, Quiz and Talk activities. Opening, studying and reviewing content that has already been created does not use this creation allowance.
- Honeylingo Premium removes Honeylingo's in-app advertising while the entitlement is active.
- The applicable store's purchase confirmation screen controls the final price, currency, tax treatment, billing period, trial or offer terms and seller shown before purchase.
- Payment is charged to the store account that confirms the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled through that store within its required cancellation period.
- Deleting Honeylingo or deleting a Honeylingo account does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel it in the store where it was purchased.
- Store cancellation and refund rules apply, subject to rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
6. Acceptable use
You may not disrupt the service; bypass limits, access controls or security; scrape or automate access at scale without permission; resell the service; impersonate another person; submit unlawful, harmful or infringing material; attempt to expose another person's information; or use Honeylingo unlawfully. Honeylingo may restrict access reasonably necessary to address abuse, fraud, security threats or legal requirements.
7. Intellectual property
Honeylingo's app, brand, interface and operator-created material belong to the operator or licensors. You keep rights you already have in text you submit. You give Honeylingo the limited rights needed to process that text, provide the requested feature and maintain de-identified reusable Today and Words content as described above. Third-party rights remain with their owners.
8. Availability and termination
Features may change for security, legal, operational or technical reasons, without limiting paid rights contrary to mandatory law. You may stop using Honeylingo and delete your account at any time. Honeylingo may suspend or terminate access for material violations of these Terms, fraud, security threats or legal requirements.
9. Disclaimers, liability and disputes
To the extent permitted by law, Honeylingo is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability or perfect accuracy. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The mandatory law and courts available to you as a consumer remain available regardless of any conflicting provision. Contact us first so we can investigate and try to resolve a concern.
